The Carlton Village Neighbourhood Forum (CVNF) is in the process of creating a Neighbourhood Plan which will guide and influence any further development in the designated Carlton Neighbourhood Area.

Over the years you have responded really well with great ideas and comments on what Carlton should look like in the future to best serve the Community. From our previous surveys we (the Community) have identified key themes and topics that the Forum wants to include in the Plan.

We are seeking feedback and ideas from all of those who live, work, study or carry out business in the Carlton Neighbourhood Area. We would like to hear your latest views on priorities for each of the aforementioned key themes.

The Forum is working with Leeds City Council who are publicising the consultation and will collate the responses on behalf of the Forum.

So, how can you help once again and tell us what you think?

Dog Dirt and Litter

Dog dirt seems to be on the increase in the village. Many children walk to school and it has been brought to our attention how much dog dirt they are needing to avoid on the pavements. Can we just ask if you are a dog owner, can you please be responsible and pick up your dogs poos. Carlton is a lovely village let’s work together to keep it clean including putting litter and dog poos in the bins provided. Thank you for reading.

Battery Storage – Please add comments to new application

Please if you objected before, object again. This is a new application but we have been informed a lot of people think because they objected to the first application they don’t need to do so again. The deadline is on the 8th December, please spread the word. You can have more than one person in a household make a comment. Don’t be late and miss the date!!! Also you don’t have to live in Rothwell/Carlton to make a comment, these sites are spreading.

Battery Storage – Submitting your comments against new application

Another new application has been submitted for the Battery Energy Storage System at Westfield Road. Please be aware that if you submitted a comment against the previous application, this will no longer count, so if you wish to make a comment about the new application, you will need to do so by the 8th December.
